Overcloaking using LightWeight Tiles

Overcloaking using LightWeight Tiles

Overcloaking using LightWeight Tiles.

Our tiles can be used over the top of your existing conservatory roof. This means you don't have to spend hours removing your glass. If you have to remove your existing roof, this is going to take a lot of time and money to do so. The good thing with using our LightWeight Tiles system is that it saves you this job as they are only 6kgs per square meter.

We had a customer send us some images of a job he done using our Terracotta Red tiles on their conservatory roof. It shows the process of how our tiles can be fitted to your existing roof.

Just think how much time you could be saving by using LightWeight Tiles.

Below are the images of the progress of our tiles OVER-CLOAKING.

As you can see from the above image, the customer has decided to go over the top of the existing polycarbonate conservatory roof. They have fixed down the recommend 2” x 1” battens straight onto the roof trusses. If you do it this way, then you may want to consider insulating the conservatory from the inside. It is not essential for you to do this as you can insulate from the outside before the installing of our lightweight roofing tiles.

As you can see, this customer has decided to insulate from the outside underneath the battens.

After you have decided where you will be insulating your conservatory, either from the inside or outside, you can then start the process of installing the lightweight tiles roofing system.

Above is the completed conservatory roof with lightweight tiles roofing system in our granulated terracotta red. This colour matches the house brick work perfectly, don’t you think?

So, for this job they needed:

Tiles,

Ridge Tiles

Ridge Tile End Caps

Eavesguards

Plastic coated fixing screws

I did my utility room and conservatory roof two years ago and was
so impressed with the product, service and final look, I knew the shed had
to be the same.
