“ The materials a joy to work with, so long as you adhere to the fitting instructions on small planets website you can not go wrong. The tiles slot together effortlessly. And the overall finished job looks stunning. Shortly after I had finished the job the heavens opened with hail stones. I was stood in the conservatory and barely heard a thing. Thank you to all personal whom I spoke to when purchasing the materials. You were all very helpful. Looking forward to summer now in our transformed conservatory! ”

“ Got the sample titles ,and immediately thought that these are exactly what I was looking for to re tile my conservatory roof, built this about 25 years ago, had a few leaks over the last 5/6 years and needed to do something, delighted with the help and delivery time, which allowed my son and I to do in one day ,only prob ,to hot ,however as it was a grand day ,onwards and upwards,!! ,the product is so real looking ,had many comments from neighbours how good it looked,as I am semi retired from my business ,decorators /property maintenance, this was really a straight forward job, if you are a competent diy’er then you should have no problem with the install, again thanks to all ,particularly the girls I dealt with, this product is 10/10 ”

“ After finishing the shed roof, I of course had some offcuts and spare tiles.
Working 5 days per week, so has been a Sunday afternoon project over the past 2 months, but so far, one Bird Table (or Cat Entertainment Center) for the front garden and an all weather Cat Pagoda for the back garden. ”

“ I have a general building and carpentry background, but I will say that your products are very easy to use and with a bit of forward planning, it was easier than I thought. I think I was quite fortunate how the tiles worked out at the ridge but would have been fine if I would have had to of cut them, as your ridge tile gives great cover.
The room was once a separate conservatory, but as with a lot of households now, I had knocked out the back of the house and the wall of the kitchen to make one big entertainment area. The roof was then the biggest loss of heat in the winter. 25mm Celotex insulation was just stuck onto the outside face of the existing polycarb roof, between the roof bars and then felt and battened. As for the Velux, the interaction with your tiles, as opposed to a ‘normal’ traditional tile, was a little interesting. Your tile sits below the front edge of the battens and ‘normal’ tile hooks over the back of it meaning the tile line does rise a little at this point to accommodate the flashing kit but is not too noticeable.
The beauty of doing it this way, was the fact that the existing roof gave great weather proofing. As I never compromised it, apart from taking out the existing vent openers.
I intend now to stick another layer of 25mm Celotex in-between the roof bars on the inside and then plasterboard and skim to give it a vaulted ceiling look. I will send you a picture of this, if you wish, later in the year. ”
