Quality British made lightweight roofing tiles for DIY roofing or trade. Not only are our lightweight roofing tiles very light and strong, but they are also simple to fit on a wide range of roofs. Our lightweight tiles are easy to saw and cut and with just some batons, a drill, a screwdriver and a handful of screws, you can completely renew your roof in just a couple of hours.
We manufacture and distribute our own low pitch roofing products (recommended for roof pitches of 10º and above) to the highest standard, and pride ourselves on our attention to detail. Our recycled roofing tiles are made here in the UK by our family run business, and we have been producing and distributing our roofing system for many years throughout the UK and Europe.
Our lightweight roofing tiles are made from a mix of a top blended quality virgin polypropylene and recycled polypropylene, they can also be recycled, making them a brilliant, eco-friendly option. All our tiles are guaranteed for 25 years.
“ After coming across your product on eBay we then made an enquiry directly with your office.
I'd like to say, how fantastic and pleased I am with my new lightweight conservatory roof purchased from you.
We have insulated the roof with 50mm Kingspan inside and out, which has vastly improved its usability in cold weather (and I would think in hot weather also), and also made it much more visually appealing to the eye.
Thank you for your prompt service and delivery for a top class product. ”

“ We wanted a covered patio area and discovered the website. The tiles are light and were put up in just a few hours compared with a couple of days for concrete tiles. The infrastructure is a lot lighter and the whole project was completed far quicker than if we had used conventional tiles.
Result, very noticeable reduction in solar heating on sunny days, retains heat better when heated on cool days, and is much quieter, rain and road noise greatly reduced. Had a bit of a struggle with the Ubiflex, found it to be ‘floppier’ than traditional lead, more difficult to feed a long length into slot cut in mortar. Once in place, Ubiflex sealants worked well, and it was easy to mould the flashing to fit the tiles. ”

“ Just wanted to let you know that I’ve finished the roofing of my garage / workshop at the weekend.
Thank you for your advice and good service in getting the tiles and sundries to me in County Antrim promptly. ”

“ I have a general building and carpentry background, but I will say that your products are very easy to use and with a bit of forward planning, it was easier than I thought. I think I was quite fortunate how the tiles worked out at the ridge but would have been fine if I would have had to of cut them, as your ridge tile gives great cover.
The room was once a separate conservatory, but as with a lot of households now, I had knocked out the back of the house and the wall of the kitchen to make one big entertainment area. The roof was then the biggest loss of heat in the winter. 25mm Celotex insulation was just stuck onto the outside face of the existing polycarb roof, between the roof bars and then felt and battened. As for the Velux, the interaction with your tiles, as opposed to a ‘normal’ traditional tile, was a little interesting. Your tile sits below the front edge of the battens and ‘normal’ tile hooks over the back of it meaning the tile line does rise a little at this point to accommodate the flashing kit but is not too noticeable.
The beauty of doing it this way, was the fact that the existing roof gave great weather proofing. As I never compromised it, apart from taking out the existing vent openers.
I intend now to stick another layer of 25mm Celotex in-between the roof bars on the inside and then plasterboard and skim to give it a vaulted ceiling look. I will send you a picture of this, if you wish, later in the year. ”

“ This old building in our garden is known to us as the Ranch House. It is known to be at least 75 years old and may well be more. The roof in particular was falling apart, it was covered in corrugated bitumen sheeting which was well past its used by date. We had two choices; demolish it or renovate it. We decided to renovate but felt that it deserved something better than corrugated sheeting on the roof. This was why we selected Lightweight Tiles after several email exchanges with Laura and Susan plus going to meet Laura at the Renovation Show in Birmingham.
The hard part was completely rebuilding the roof structure as we decided to change the pitch of the roof. Fitting the tiles was easy. Two of us fitted 70 tiles on the long side in 5 hours which included a leisurely lunch and several cups of tea. I fitted the remaining 30 on the other side on my own in about the same time. I have one tip though, it is worth drilling a small pilot hole for each screw, you can then fit the screws much more neatly.
We are very pleased with the transformation, I keep going down the garden to look at it! ”
